Looking for a skincare blog that will guide you to clear skin? All Skin Care Talk is the blog you need!
Welcome to my skincare blog, truth is I didn't know if I should go ahead with this skincare blog or not but I gave it a lot of thought and decided to give it a try.
I'm fairly new at blogging and to be honest I don't consider myself a very good writer, despite the fact, here I am.
The truth is there are so many skincare articles and skincare blogs, but there's also so much false information that you can become overwhelmed and ultimately (by not being well-informed) cause more damage than what your skin can bear.
I remember being in the same position and irritating my skin constantly for following just about anything of what I read online.
Nowadays, since I am licensed and experienced, I know about the do's and don'ts.
I try to read as much as I can because truthfully that's one of the ways I learn about skin and skin care the most.
I'll not only do my best but I'll give this skincare blog my all because I know my purpose is to help you reach the skin of your dreams.
Purpose of My Skincare Blog
I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to study aesthetics and be a licensed aesthetician because it had always been a dream of mine.
While studying aesthetics, there were a lot of revelations that I was unaware off (keep in mind, I was very young) and that's why I created this skincare blog.
Like I mentioned before, there is so much false information being spread through the Internet, specially through social media, that you end up being confused and frustrated.
You need to be given accurate information to be able to educate yourself correctly on skin care if you want to achieve flawless skin.
I wanted to have a skincare blog as a space where I could share everything I know, have learned and keep on learning about skin care.
From:
- Products that are worth buying.
- My tips and tricks in order to have healthy skin.
- How to correctly use skin care tools.
- And my experiences in the aesthetics and cosmetology field.
In addition to this, reviewing skin care products which:
- I find worth reviewing, whether it's good or bad.
- As well as, the most popular ones in the market.
I truly dream of my skincare blog becoming the BEST skincare blog throughout the Internet because I am very passionate about everything skin related and I enjoy what I do.
I want to truly help everyone whose struggle with their skin, just like I did and actually still do.
My skincare blog "All Skin Care Talk", has been created to motivate me to keep on learning (we all have those days), as well as, becoming better in practice and transmitting my knowledge to all those individuals who are interested in keeping their complexion healthy and young.
The Importance of The Skin
Being a licensed aesthetician (I officially graduated in December of 2018 while also studying another major, it was tiring but worth it), the importance of the skin for me is vital.
Not only because it represents me and projects the job that I can get done, but because our skin performs daily tasks which are essential to our bodies performance and protection.
From daily exposure of viruses and bacteria to the sun's rays (specifically UV light).
I could go on and on about why protecting the skin and having a clear complexion is so important, but I can't convince or force you to treat and care for your skin if you don't want to.
Through my skincare blog, I can only provide the knowledge and tools, the rest is up to you. My advice is always to protect your skin, primarily because of your health, if you don't, who will?
Skin Care
Skin care is defined as caring for the skin through the use of cosmetics.
The main purpose of cosmetic products is to be able to modify appearance, maintain status, beautify or clean areas of the body.
So if you're wondering whether cosmetic products work, according to the definition the answer is yes, they do work.
However, skin care is complex and it's so much more than just dabbing skin care products on your skin.
Although, topical skin care products do work, other factors such as genetics and lifestyle choices play a huge role in how your skin behaves and ages.
Patient Excuses
I have patients that create all types of stories and excuses to simply not look after their skin.
Back when I was doing my internship, I was with a client and I was offering her a face cleanser, not only because I made commissions from products I sold (we are all trying to save up), but because I knew that if she used the cleanser I recommended (which was dermatological) it would help improve the quality of her skin.
A few minutes before I was almost finished with the facial, the lady told me she didn't need one because she already washes her face with dog soap.
I was taken so off guard because I didn't expect that answer and most importantly if it's dog soap then it's probably meant for dogs.
Nowadays, there's literally no excuse to take care of your skin, specially when there are skin care products ranging in prices making it accessible to different budgets and that all brands have online stores so you can even order from home; it doesn't get easier than that.
And let's not forget that you now have access to my skincare blog which no doubt will definitely guide you in the right direction, you can always reach out and let me know your concerns.
You have to learn to prioritize! What do you want to accomplish? What are your goals? What's on the top of your list? How much time will you invest?
You have to set up real goals for the skin you want to achieve.
Again, I know there's so much information that it can be overwhelming to even start but through my skincare blog, I'll teach and help you out!
Take Care of Your Skin
Our skin does the obvious, it protects us from our surroundings and it helps us stay alive so take care of your skin.
If you do, in turn, you'll have healthy and clear skin and if you're here it's because you want flawless skin, am I right?.
Now although genetics play a huge role on how your skin behaves and reacts, and despite both of my parents suffering from severe acne, I was able to maintain my skin under control because I took care of it.
I have to say that my skin has come such a long way and it will go a longer way, because there's still so many things that I don't know and I'm still learning; this skincare blog is to document my journey.
Achieve Flawless Skin
It's no news that beauty influencers, aestheticians and even doctors, claim of being able to achieve flawless skin with:
- Pills
- Miracle Skin Care Products
(or with whatever kind of false marketing they have in mind because every year is something new), so they can convince you to buy pills, that will eventually be harmful to you or skin care products that they supposedly swear by, that will probably won't help at all.
As much as I love the idea because at some point I did, it's just not worth your health and money, the reason my skincare blog will help you is because it'll provide accurate and useful information.
In fact, another reason for the creation of this skincare blog is trying products so you don't have to waste either money or time (you can reach out to clear doubts or request a certain product review, I'd love to hear from you and give you advice or an honest skin care product review).
While studying aesthetics, there's a phrase my favorite teacher use to say that stuck with me "think biologically".
Imagine you accidentally cut yourself with a knife, does your wound heal immediately?
NO, it takes time, it's the same way with acne (or any condition) on our skin.
If there was a way to heal faster than we normally do (everyone heals differently and some do heal faster than other but the healing process usually takes quite some time), you wouldn't be reading this skincare blog in the first place trying to find a solution, and the skincare industry wouldn't be making around $24 billion each year.
Healing your skin is a process that takes time.
That's why I follow a skin care routine (focused on oily skin types) which I religiously do every day, it works for me and if you customize it for your skins needs, it will work for you as well.
At times, it can be a slow and painful process, but I have learned that what “easy comes, easy goes”.
A few years ago, I took the famous pill called Isotretinoin better known by its brand name Accutane, and in a couple of months without having to follow any tedious skincare routine my skin looked PERFECT; I felt beautiful.
However, it didn't last long, a few month in without taking the pill brought my nightmares back.
Hard Work is Important
"Hard work works. Working really hard is what successful people do", I heard this saying from Denzel Washingtion and I have been living by it ever since. Hard work is important in every aspect of your life and it's what will yield you results.
It's not easy, nobody said it was, but to reach your goals you must work hard and be constant.
You'll do things you have never done before, for me it has been creating the skincare blog but that's part of the process.
Unfortunately, most people aren't willing to put in the work because we live in a society that has emphasized instant gratification so much that if we don't see immediate results, we give up (believing our hard work is not worth it) and quit which ultimately leads to frustration.
You have to find a reason that's strong enough as to why you want flawless skin? Take a second, sit down and find what's the reason behind wanting clearer skin?
Your reason has to be strong enough for you to be able to continue, even on the days you're not motivated because motivation runs out; I speak from experience.
Why are you willing to follow a skin care routine? How much time are you willing to invest in your skin?
I know it's hard to keep up with a routine specially when results are not immediate, so many steps to follow but remember to focus on the process on a daily basis rather than the end result.
Building this skincare blog has taken focus, dedication, consistency and hard work, despite it seeming easy, it's not.
But it doesn't matter because if I can help someone else with my skincare blog, who's struggling with their skin, my main goal would have been reached!
I really want to motivate you to take the first step and change the rest of your life.
Having healthy and clear skin boosted my confidence which helped with other aspects of my life.
Remember that hard work and sacrifice PAYS OFF and that anything you want to achieve in life must be through working hard.
Realistic Goals
Often times, we set ourselves with unrealistic goals, I'm not saying that hard work can't beat reality but sometimes accepting your truth is the best way to set realistic goals for yourself.
For the longest time, I hoped that I would have dry skin type. That way I wouldn't have to deal with issues like open and closed comedones, also known as blackheads and whiteheads.
I have struggled so much with blackheads and whiteheads, due to hormone imbalance but I needed to accept it to be able to address it.
My truth was another and I had to learn to deal with my acne prone skin sooner or later to be able to achieve the results that I desired.
The faster I recognized what my issues and concerns were, the better my skin got.
The integumentary system (also known as the the skin) as efficient as it is, it's still a very complicated one.
We haven't mastered it yet completely but luckily can manage and maintain under control!
Once again welcome to my skincare blog "All Skin Care Talk".
I am Suyud Issa, buckle up you're going to enjoy the ride because I am about to keep it real!

Taking care of your skin is important because it provides support people's organs, bones and muscles, it covers and protects our body, provides an airtight, watertight and flexible barrier between systems within the body and our surrounding environment. In addition to this, it helps with regulating temperature, with the immune system, in the production of vitamin and with the sense of touch.
First of all, I must address that despite your age, it's never too late to start caring for your skin because you'll reap the benefits either way. Prevention is definitely easier and that's why experts recommend starting skincare at an early age; preferably since childhood and no later than 25.
Too much of a skin care product, as well as, the one being used, like over-exfoliating the skin, can lead to irritation, redness, dryness and breakouts. Due to a large selection of skin care products, patients usually abuse the usage of skin care products which worsens the state of their skin.
