So I couldn’t wait to receive the package with all the Pixi products I had bought.
There are so many good and bad skincare products.
Products that might work for you and you might like but someone else might not.
Each skin is so unpredictable, and that’s why you have to find what works for you best.
I’m constantly trying to find new products that work better than the ones I have.
Sometimes is a win and sometimes it’s a loss.
Why I love The Pixi H20 Skin Drink
I never thought this product would be as good as it turned out to be.
Pixi is UK brand founded by Petra Strand over 20 years ago. Petra has 20+ years of experience as a makeup artist & product developer.
I was drawn by the fact that the brand is all natural, cruelty free (which means their products are not tested on animals) and has accessible prices.
If you’re like me, ever since I was very little I have never been a fan of the sticky textures.
I don’t like feeling sticky and that’s one of the reasons I love this moisturizer.
It feels very lightweight on the skin, it doesn’t clog my pores and it delivers just the right amount of moisture my skin needs.
The main ingredients in this moisturizer, which provide numerous benefits to the skin, are:
- Green tea: it provides the skin with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. The polyphenols in green tea are great for treating acne and oily skin because it helps reduce the production of sebum.
- Aloe vera: it’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, which means it helps treat burns, acne and dry skin. The enzymes found in aloe vera helps exfoliate the skin making it smoother. It helps with the production of collagen in the body to prevent wrinkles and fine lines.
- Rosemary: it protects skin cells from the sun and free radicals, it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties and it helps cure chronic skin conditions.
The Pixi H20 Skin Drink is a very light and it’s the first one I come across which I have continued to use.
It cools and refreshes my skin because their formula with encapsulated water rehydrates, plumps and stimulates the complexion.
I also love this moisturizers fragrance because it’s not too strong.
I personally love the Pixi H20 Skin Drink and I have had a great experience while using it.
However, I this moisturizer is not for all skin types because it’s gel based.
I don’t recommend it to those with dry skin because it won’t deliver the amount of moisture the skin needs.
There are other moisturizers, cream based, that also provide so many benefits to this type of skin and deliver the moisture it needs.
Why I Use The Pixi H20 Skin Drink?
Besides all the beneficial properties this products delivers the skin, I use it because it’s lightweight and it helps with my pores.
I have always had trouble with blackheads and whiteheads, so for a product to prevent my pores from clogging while delivering moisture, it’s a miracle.
How I Use The Pixi H20 Skin Drink?
I usually have limited time to work with, although, I do try to follow my skin care routine by the book sometimes I just don’t have the time.
This product goes a long way so you only need about a quarter size.
After I have finished toning my skin, I use this moisturizer and I let it sit for a few minutes.
Then, I apply sunscreen and I am good to go.
This moisturizer because its gel base is for people with oily and acneic skin.
If you’re someone who struggles with blackheads, whiteheads and your pores getting clogged, this product is a definitely try.
I know a lot of people that skip moisturizing because of the stickiness and denseness in most moisturizer but this one is so lightweight you don’t even feel it on you skin.
However, it’s moisturizing enough it gives your skin that plump and boost it needs.
