La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming gel has helped me deal with my oily acneic skin.

This will be a detailed La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel review, a skin care product I’m really grateful for.

Since I have acne skin I have to constantly stay alert because if I don’t, I instantly break out.

I recommend you follow my tips for oily skin.

It’s no secret that through the years, due to concerns with my skin I have tried so many cleansers…

…some of which are good and some which are not.

The good news is this skin care line does what it promises!

A Bit About La Roche Posay

La Roche Posay is a well known French skin care brand founded in 1995.

It has awarded 160 grants for dermatology research and it’s in partnership with dermatologists, in campaigns related to skin cancer prevention…

…which just makes this brand even more awesome because they genuinely care about peoples health.

Their goal is to make dermatological products available to everyone and that’s why I naturally chose to try this cleanser.

Truth be told, at first I was unsure, due to my really sensitive skin.

But this product for its price works wonderful and I have been using it for a long time.

When I clean my face with La Roche Posay Effaclar purifying foaming gel, my skin feels refresh and clean.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel

As said before, this skin care line delivers what it promises and its La Roche Posay effaclar cleanser is a gem.

I can talk about so many things that make this foaming gel great, however, I will only be focusing on two aspects.

First of all, it’s tested on acne-prone skin which is a relief to me.

There are so many skin care products in the market, from dermatological to drugstore.

My issue has always been whether the skin care line I’m using has been tested or not.

Because this demonstrated the companies concern with the level of safety of their product on a persons skin.

Second of all, it respects skin’s pH balance, a balanced pH level allows the skin to function and look its best.

For instance, soap bars have a very harmful ingredient known as lye, which damages and corrodes.

Now imagine washing your face with soap, the effect it will have on your skin.

When you wash your face with soap bars, do you ever feel like your skin is tight?

Well, this tight feeling comes from the soap unbalancing the skins pH, it has a pH of 13 which means its too alkaline for your skin.

You should always be concerned about a cleansers pH level, a cleanser with a pH lower than 9 helps keep the skin moist.

My Experience with La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel

Like I said before, I have used this foaming gel for a while and have no complaints so my experience has been really good.

So far it’s one of the best cleansers I have used because it keeps my skin from shine and drying out completely.

The La Roche Posay Effaclar purifying foaming gel has a water like consistency, which is skin friendly.

My skin is very sensitive so the fact that such cleanser has the capacity to maintain skins moisture while preventing irritation is just great.

The Benefits of The Main Ingredient

Usually, all skin care brands have a main ingredient which they work around.

However, this skin care line doesn’t.

After doing some research, I was able to find the main ingredients for this foaming gel which are:

  • Thermal spring water: which performs a soothing and anti-irritant action.
  • Cleansing agents: which perform a high-efficacy action in eliminating impurities and excess sebum.
  • Zinc pidolate: to reduce sebum secretion and purify the skin.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Is Free Off

I am a person who would so much rather use natural ingredients because they are better for your health.

However, this doesn’t mean I don’t use skin care products because I do and love them.

One of the many reasons I use La Roche Posay Effaclar purifying foaming gel is because it’s free of the following ingredients:

  • It’s free of soap, a product made of lye which is harmful and can burn the skin.
  • It’s alcohol free, the alcohol found in skin care products dry the skin out.
  • It’s colorant free, colorant as harmless as it may seem, it’s not, it interferes with the skins natural oil balance and clogs your pores.
  • It’s parabens free, parabens are known to disrupt hormone function.

Knowing that this foaming gel does not contain these ingredients relieves me.

Reasons Why I Love This Cleanser

Like so many skin care products, there are reasons people love them…

…and the reason I love this cleanser is because it’s:

  • Great for sensitive skin because of it’s thermal spring water ingredient which performs an anti-irritant action.
  •  Non-comedogenic, which means that it doesn’t clog pores.
  • It removes excess oil which means less greasy skin throughout the day, but does not dry the skin out.
  • Gives the skin a smooth texture.
  • Not strong in fragrance.

These are just a few reasons as to why I love using this cleanser and would recommend buying it.

How I Use It?

I apply about a pea size amount of foaming gel into my hands or my facial cleansing brush, it really depends if I’m in a hurry or not.

I would so much rather use my cleansing brush because our fingers have so much bacteria that can be transferred into our face.

When I use my brush, I just apply a bit of water so that the gel foams up and then in a circular motion clean my face and neck.

If I use my fingers, I basically do the same but avoid stimulating my face too much because it can cause breakouts.

Last but not least, I would recommend 100% buying La Roche Posay Effaclar cleanser for people with oily skin.

Which cleanser do you use? Do you recommend it? Why?
